The short answer
The cheapest choice depends on how many pages you send and whether you want to sign up. Free tiers (Faxify: 5 pages a month; Fax.Plus: 10 pages once; Dropbox Fax: 5 free pages) cost nothing for a few pages. After that, Dropbox Fax pay-as-you-go and WiseFax tokens are cheaper than Oh Fax for short faxes. Oh Fax is a flat $2.00 for any fax up to 100 pages, so it costs less than per-page services once a fax is longer, and it needs no account.
- Price: $2.00 per fax by card, for a PDF of up to 100 pages and 25 MB. No account and no subscription.
- Where: fax numbers in the US and Canada only.
- Send-only: Oh Fax sends faxes. It cannot receive faxes or give you a fax number.
- Not for patient data: do not use Oh Fax for protected health information (PHI).
